Name of the Course: Full Body Massage Course
Course objectives:
Whole Body Anatomy: Participants will learn the anatomical details of the whole body, including the structure of bones, muscles, tendons, and joints. This knowledge will be the basis for the correct application of massage techniques.
Classic Massage Techniques: The course will cover a wide range of massage techniques for all parts of the body, including the back, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, feet, abdomen and neck. Techniques may include kneading, pressure, circular motions, and soft tissue manipulation.
Use of Oils and Aromatherapy: Participants will be trained in the use of essential oils and aromatherapy to enhance the benefits of massage and contribute to the client's overall well-being.
Therapeutic and Decontracting Massage: The course will cover therapeutic massage techniques to manage muscle pain, tension and discomfort specific to different parts of the body.
Hot or Cold Stone Massage: Participants will be introduced to hot or cold stone massage techniques to add an element of relaxation and therapy to the course.
Adapting to Various Preferences and Health Conditions: Participants will learn to adapt massage sessions to individual client preferences and various health conditions.
Communication and Professional Ethics: The course will include training in effective communication with clients, setting expectations, and following ethical standards in massage.
Learning Methods:
Practice Demonstrations: The instructor will demonstrate massage techniques and participants will have the opportunity to observe and practice under supervision.
Practice Sessions: Participants will have extensive practice sessions to apply various massage techniques to the whole body.
Discussions and Questions: Interactive sessions to discuss practical experiences, ask questions and develop understanding of concepts.
At the end of the course, participants should be able to provide full massage sessions, addressing different client needs and have solid skills in body anatomy and various massage techniques.
